Tamkeen holds orientation session for productive families at El Eslah society

Tamkeen organised an orientation session for productive families that are supported by El Eslah Society, which was held to introduce the attendees to Tamkeen’s various programmes and how to benefit from them. The session is part of Tamkeen’s Community Engagement Initiative, which aims to create awareness and better understanding regarding Tamkeen’s programmes. 

During the sessions, the attendees were given a brief about what programmes Tamkeen provides to support productive families and their businesses in order to increase their productivity. During the session, the attendees also presented their questions about what programmes best match the nature of their business. In addition, the attendees also provided opinions and recommendations regarding the best support that would fit the nature of their operations and the way their business works.

Tamkeen

Tamkeen is a public authority established in August 2006, tasked with supporting Bahrain’s private sector and positioning it as the key driver of economic growth and development. Tamkeen is one of the cornerstones of Bahrain’s national reform initiatives and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.

Tamkeen has two primary objectives - firstly, foster the development and growth of enterprises, and second provide support to enhance the productivity and training of the national workforce. To achieve these objectives -Tamkeen’s 2018-2020 strategy focuses on Diversifying offerings, Accelerate delivery and Sustaining Impact.
