Tamkeen Chairman Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa as Interim Chief Executive

Tamkeen announces that its Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of Chief Executive Mr. Mahmood Hashem Al-Kooheji. The Board of Directors has tasked Tamkeen Chairman His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa as interim Chief Executive.

Commenting on the announcement, His Excellency Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Khalifa said, “On behalf of Tamkeen’s Board of Directors, I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation for Mr. Al-Kooheji’s service during his tenure at Tamkeen and wish him all the best.”

His Excellency stressed that Tamkeen will continue to serve the public through its various support programmes, noting that the number of programmes created by Tamkeen has served more than 98,000 Bahrainis and businesses in Bahrain. His Excellency also confirmed that preparations are underway to unveil Tamkeen’s 2014 operational plan.
