Hyundai flies customers and brand ambassadors to FIFA World Cup Final

A group of twenty-five people from the UAE will be experiencing the ultimate excitement of this year’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil, courtesy of Juma Al Majid Est, - the sole distributor for Hyundai Motor in the UAE. The world’s fastest growing automotive brand is flying over a select party of customers, media representatives and strategic partners, all of whom will enjoy match-side seats at the tournament final, which takes place in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday, July 13th

“As official FIFA partner for the World Cup untill 2022, we were extremely happy to make the dreams come true for a number of FIFA fans by sending them to what is the single biggest sporting event in the world - the FIFA World Cup finals,” said Khaldon Abdul Hafiz, Marketing Manager, Hyundai UAE. “This is an opportunity for Hyundai to both say a big thank you to all our partners who have supported us on the road to becoming one of the most popular car brands in the UAE and to reward a number of our loyal customers, as it is our customers who have secured our premium position in the market,” he added.

Among the group who will be flying to Brazil are recent Hyundai customers who bought a vehicle from Juma Al Majid Est. showrooms located throughout the UAE. Following their purchase, their names were entered into a raffle, with a draw confirming the trip of a lifetime for a lucky few. In addition to the complimentary tickets and return flights, the competition winners will enjoy luxury accommodation and transport to and from the stadium.

Around 65,000 people will be attending the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals in Maracanã Stadium, with millions more watching the game on televisions and screens across the world. The World Cup is among the world's most widely viewed sporting events, with an estimated 715.1 million people watching the final match of the 2006 FIFA World Cup, which was held in Germany. As official FIFA partner and tournament sponsor, Hyundai has supplied the vehicles to transport the FIFA officials, football players and administrators throughout the month-long competition.

“Hyundai’s involvement with this year’s FIFA World Cup is the culmination of four years partnering with FIFA and establishing the logistics of their transport requirements for the event,” said Abdul Hafiz. “As it is the world’s biggest sporting event, there were numerous considerations to take into account to make sure it all goes smoothly.
