Fine sponsors Amman Marathon

As part of its commitment towards corporate social responsibility and the local community, FINE Hygienic Paper Company, part of Nuqul Group, has recently sponsored the Amman International Marathon, which was held on Friday October 19^th, 2012. This sponsorship comes as part of FINE’s interests in supporting sports related activities as part of its initiatives to encourage and motivate citizens to adopt a healthy and athletic lifestyle, which is in line with the company’s new slogan FINE "For a Joyful Life”.

On this occasion, Mr. Mazen Kattan, the Chief Marketing Officer at Nuqul Group, said: “Our sponsorship to this year’s marathon is driven by FINE’s commitments towards supporting sportive events and athletes alike, which is based on our belief in the importance of sports and its role in creating a civilized nation. Additionally, FINE has always been committed towards encouraging the practice of sports in the daily lives of Jordanians and not to restrict that to annual events, which what we aim to deliver from our new slogan FINE "For a Joyful Life”.”

The Amman International Marathon was launched in 2009, promoting a healthier lifestyle and creating an annual global sporting event of the same standards as other international marathons that are held in various cities around the globe. The marathon promotes athleticism, particularly among youth as thousands of people participate in this event regardless to their age or experience; additionally the marathon encourages the physically challenged to compete as well. The marathon includes three main categories; in addition to the kids run and it offers a wide range of recreational activities for all participants.

Fine Hygienic Paper Company is Nuqul Group’s first industrial operation which was founded in 1958.
