Bayt.com releases “People Search”: A socially-enabled search tool for the public

Bayt.com, the number one job site in the Middle East, has launched People Search; a public search engine that can be used by professionalsand companies looking for top talentsin the Middle East and North Africa. People Search is free, public and social. Any professional with an internet connection can access this new, powerful tool – free of charge. 

People Search provides users registered on Bayt.com with the platform they require to enhance their online branding and exposure not only to professional recruiters but also to the general public. People Search is social; it is fully integrated with Bayt.com Specialties product. This means that People Search allows discovery of talent by searching not only through the profiles posted by professionals on Bayt.com but also through their social interactions on Bayt.com Specialties, including their questions, answers and endorsements by other professionals. 

The introduction of People Search follows the launch earlier this year of a revamped version of Bayt.com’s highly powerful CV Search product. In contrast to the premium CV Search, People Search aims to empower the general public with a simpler to use tool at a much more affordable price. 

The basic version of People Search is free to use and comes with several handy search filters, such askeywords, specialties, participation rank, and location. The free version also allows the user to view other users’ public profiles on Bayt.com and then directly drill down into their social interactions on Bayt.com Specialties. 

Users can choose to purchase “Contact Credits” to contact the users of their choice. Purchasing Contact Credits also activates a number of additional search filters such as: company, years of experience and job title, among others. Bayt.com People Search is particularly useful for individuals and small companies with limited budgets to find the right professionals and directly get in contact with them.
