Motivate Publishing CEO hand-delivers prestigious literary award to Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor

The publisher of ‘Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, The Autobiography’, Motivate Publishing, hand-delivered a top literary award from the Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), to Khalaf Al Habtoor, Chairman of the Al Habtoor Group on Thursday 14 November.
Ian Service, Founder and CEO, Motivate Publishing and John Deykin, General Manager, Books personally visited Al Habtoor to present him with the prestigious award for ‘Best International Book on Business and Economics’.
The award was initially presented to Ian Fairservice at the Sharjah International Book Fair by His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday 6 November, 2013.
Al Habtoor said, “I am delighted that my autobiography has received recognition at an international event.”
The group discussed the upcoming launch of Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor – The Autobiography in Hungary in spring 2014. It would mark the second European market debut. The real-life account of Al Habtoor’s life made its first appearance in Europe at a book launch at top UK department store, Harrods in October 2013. Al Habtoor is a well-known figure in Hungary. He acquired the historic Le Méridien Budapest, a stunning five star hotel on the River Danube in 2011.
The autobiography, written in English and Arabic, was launched in the region in 2012, and it has already hit the best-sellers lists at various bookstores through the GCC.
