ALBAWABA – Elon Musk, the American entrepreneur and US government contractor, best known for his leadership roles at Tesla, SpaceX, xAI, the Boring Company, and X, has announced the release of Grok 3, calling it 'the smartest AI on Earth'.
Grok 3 to be released on Monday
According to Musk’s post on the X platform, Grok 3, an AI chatbot released by his startup xAI, will compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT.
“Grok 3 release with live demo on Monday night at 8pm PT. Smartest AI on Earth,” Musk posted on X platform.
No further details were provided about Grok's features and capabilities, but experts anticipate it will introduce significant AI features, such as text-to-video conversion, along with improvements that could surpass OpenAI's GPT-4, Google DeepMind's Gemini, and Anthropic's Claude models.

On the other hand, many people do not expect Grok 3 to outperform existing AI models on the market, as Musk has previously announced exciting models that ultimately proved to be failures.
Additionally, the competition in the market is fierce, with other AI models and chatbots excelling through advanced tools, features, and capabilities.
Critics are questioning Grok 3's and xAI's ability to perform independently, while major companies like OpenAI collaborate and partner with big tech firms such as Google and Microsoft.
