Iran's President Mohammad Khatami inaugurated Abadan gas power plant for generating electricity on Monday.
According to the IRIB, the gas power plant with the capacity of about 500 mega watt is located some 10 kilometers from Abadan. The cost of the power plant is estimated to reach US$23.5 million. (menareport.com)
