Victor Valdes's agent has rejected reports that the goalkeeper has turned down a chance to train with Liverpool.
Goal reported last week the former Barcelona goalkeeper is in talks regarding a move to Anfield following the expiry of his contract at Camp Nou, with a medical scheduled in the near future to assess his fitness.
Valdes has been out of action since March with an anterior cruciate ligament injury, with reports suggesting Liverpool had insisted on a trial before committing, but the player's agent has dimissed such talk as "false".
"Liverpool have not offered us the chance to train with them for four days," Gines Carvajal told SPORT.
"And we have not rejected the offer, because it is false. That proposal was never made to us by Brendan Rodgers nor by Liverpool at any moment."
