Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) is set to offer €900 million to buy Italian club AS Roma, as per La Repubblica.
The Rome-based side is owned by Dan Friedkin who appears to be willing to sell for around €1bn.
Negotiations are underway between the two sides, and a Roma representative is currently in Riyadh.
The Italian giants are being sponsored by Riyadh Season, and previous reports revealed that Turki Alalshikh, president of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, has already made a visit to the club's training facilities.
The fund is ready to pay €900m, plus another €300m tied to a specific clause that could be tiggerd if and when the club's plans for a new stadium in Pietralata get the green light.
