Chelsea (3-0-0) sits at the top of the table on goal difference thanks to some excellent opening month production from new additions Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa.

The two new Spanish imports have already stamped their influence on Jose Mourinho’s side with Fabregas picking up four assists in three matches and Costa four goals in three. Both will be expected to take center stage on Saturday morning.

Eden Hazard is a doubt after withdrawing from international duty for Belgium, just as Costa did for Spain, but other than that Mourinho has a fully fit side to call upon.

Swansea City (3-0-0) also are undaunted in their early season with three victories from three just as the Blues and only remain in second place thanks to the Blues’ goal difference.

Garry Monk will be delighted with how his side has performed already this season but they will have their work cut out for them at Stamford Bridge.

Marvin Emnes, Leon Britton and Alan Tate all remain injured and unavailable.

Projected Lineups

Chelsea XI: Courtois: Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta; Matic, Ramires; Willain, Fabregas, Hazard; Costa.

Swansea City XI: Fabianski: Rangel, Williams, Amat, Taylor; Shelvey, Sung-Yueng; Dyer, Sigurdsson, Routledge; Bony.
