We want to create an atmosphere that the skaters and sports fans will relish and appreciate.”

The championship includes three races - an 8km men’s race, an 8km women’s race and a 3km fun race.

The men's and women's events are open to those above 12 years of age, with awards assured for the top five finishers. Entry fee for the skating contest is RO1 and those interested to participate can contact the organisers at 97320036/ 98099903.
