Newcastle United are keeping tabs on Trabzonspor’s Ugurcan Cakir and even sent scouts to watch the goalkeeper recently.
The 23-year-old may cost the Magpies as much as £17 million ($22m/€19m), claim the Sunderland Echo.
However, Newcastle could face competition from Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham, all of whom are also interested in Cakir.
