Newcastle United may end up triggering the release clause in Paolo Dybala's contract at AS Roma, as per Corriere Della Sera.
The Argentine international has impressed at Stadio Olimpico since his arrival in a free transfer in 2022.
He is tied to the Roman club until the summer of 2025.
However, Newcastle can have the 30-year-old for only £11 million by triggering his release clause.
Dybala currently earns a whooping £183,000-a-week that may prevent Newcastle from sealing the deal, given their FFP budget constraints.
The striker suffered a series of injuries this season and has made only 18 appearances with six goals and six assists to his name.
