Manchester United are trying to offload veteran midfielder Casemiro, according to The Mail.

However, the 32-year-old's £375,000-a-week wages are preventing any potential deal from going through.

No club is willing to even cover a third of the Brazilian's salary, which means he will be remaining at the Red Devils for the time being.

Casemiro was criticized heavily due to his blunders in United's 3-0 defeat to Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Premier League giants have already brought in Manuel Ugarte from Paris Saint-Germain to take over from the ex-Real Madrid star.
