Tunisian athlete Oussama Oueslati received a four-year ban for doping (December 19, 2017-December 18, 2021), the International Taekwon-do Federation (ITF) announced.
Oueslati (22 years old), winner of a bronze medal at the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games had tested positive in December 2017 during The Abidjan 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Prix held in Cote d’Ivoire.
The Tunisian Taekwondo Federation Monday said in a press release that it will “appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against this severe punishment.”
