Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his delight at the recent performances of young star Amad Diallo, who has impressed with his undeniable talent.

Diallo made headlines this week after winning a penalty, which Bruno Fernandes converted, and then scoring the match-winning goal against Manchester City in the thrilling derby, which ended 2-1 in United’s favor.

Solskjaer: Amad Diallo Has Always Been a Talent

Solskjaer, who worked closely with Diallo during his time at Manchester United, spoke to the Manchester United Scandinavia Supporters' Club, saying: "Amad is a fantastic young player who truly deserves everything he’s experiencing right now. He’s worked hard, patiently waiting for his opportunity. He’s become stronger and faster, and his talent has always been evident."

Meanwhile, current Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim emphasized the importance of maintaining balance when handling Diallo’s progress. He stated: "I don’t want to focus only on Amad. There are many players here who are working hard and improving, which is great."

He continued: "Amad is having an excellent moment, but we must be cautious. We don’t want to repeat the mistakes of the past with younger players. We need to keep him grounded and focus on the next game."

Amad Diallo's success is a testament to the collective effort at United, with Amorim acknowledging the valuable work done by Erik ten Hag and Ruud van Nistelrooy in developing the young player.
