The Egyptian national team will hold their first training session in Tanzania on Wednesday afternoon ahead of their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday.
The Pharaohs made it to Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania, early Wednesday after a long six-hour trip from Cairo.
"The delegation has received a warm welcome at the airport from the Egyptian embassy's officials," the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have stated on their official website.
"The team was keen to show support for EgyptAir, taking photos with their banner ahead of their departure from Cairo," the association added.
Support for Egyptian national carrier EgyptAir has been common lately in Egypt after an Airbus A320 plane crashed into the Mediterranean with 66 people on board during a 19 May flight from Paris to Cairo.
The Pharaohs, who are on the verge of reaching the Cup of Nations for the first time since 2010, will secure a place in next year's competition with any result better than a 4-0 loss to third-placed Tanzania in the fifth game of the competition.
Under the helm of Argentinean manager Hector Cuper, the seven-time African champions Egypt sit at the top of group G with seven points, five ahead of second-placed Nigeria and six clear of Tanzania.
