Arsenal (2-3-0) secured a much needed league win last weekend at Villa Park, but their midweek defeat at home against Southampton to crash out of the League Cup was not how the fans had hoped to be sent out of the first competition of the campaign. The Derby needs to see the side up for it and raring to go.
No new injuries are on the books for the Gunners as Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott, Serge Gnabry, Mathieu Debuchy, Nacho Monreal and Yaya Sanogo all remain out and fighting to get healthy.
Tottenham (2-1-2) manager Mauricio Pochettino has called for his side to be aggressive against their local rivals and if Spurs go to the Emirates and get into the Arsenal side early and often they have a great chance of taking points from the Gunners.
Only Kyle Walker remains on the sidelines as Spurs are almost fully fit as they look to continue their return to top form.
