Arsenal set to sign Elneny in £5m deal

Arsenal have agreed a deal to sign Basel defensive midfielder Mohamed Elneny, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Gunners have agreed on a fee in the region of £5 million for the 23-year-old and will now holds talks with the Egypt international over personal terms.

The report also claims that the deal is likely to be Arsenal’s only purchase in the January transfer window after failing in their move for Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin.
