The draft agreement on the organization of the 3rd African Youth Games 2018 in Algiers was signed Wednesday at the headquarters of Algiers province, in the presence of Minister of Youth and Sport El Hadi Ould Ali.
This agreement was signed by Minister of Youth and Sport El Hadi Ould Ali, President of the Algerian Sport and Olympic Committee (COA) Mustapha Berraf, the Governor of Algiers Abdelkader Zoukh and President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ACNOA) Lassana Palenfo.
“We will be ready and live up to the trust that ACNOA has placed in us. The city of Algiers will implement all the measures for the success of these games in a climate of fraternity, conviviality and sportsmanship,” Abdelkader Zoukh, the governor of Algiers told the press.
For his part, ACNOA’s President Lassana Palenfo congratulated “Algeria for the inking of this agreement which is a concrete sign of the commitment of the country’s highest authorities for the development of sport and promotion of youth in Africa.”
“This juvenile meeting will be a platform of cultural exchanging and of sharing of values of excellence, friendship and mutual respect. I would like to seize this opportunity to send a message of friendship and respect to President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
