Ever wondered what Googlers want to purchase in the Middle East? Time to adjust your computer screens now!

When it comes to data collection, Google is king. In fact, many marketing companies use data collected from the search engine in order to provide you with an endless slew of advertisements catered to your every want and need. Some may call it creepy, while others plaude it for its precision and innovation.

But, can Google tell us more about how people spend their money in different parts of the world? One blog used Google’s autocomplete tab to find out what are the most common searches regarding cost.

"Intrigued by the results of our US state-by-state analysis of Google autocomplete results, we decided to see what the worldwide results look like," Flixr blog told StumbleUpon. "The results were then recorded and put into an infographic to see how countries and continents compare."

From Lamborghinis in Kuwait to PlayStation 3s in Lebanon, some of the results are surprising, and others right on point.

Typical! In Saudi Arabia, most people were curious about the cost of a camel. In fact, the highest price paid for a camel in the Gulf Kingdom was $800,000. But surely a budget option is also available.

Vroom vroom: In Kuwait, people want to know how they can get their hands on a Lamborghini. It’s practically a fact that there’s truly no better way to roll through the desert than in a car that costs half a million dollars!

Of course the UAE wants the biggest and best in everything! Whilst the Kuwaitis want Lamborghinis, the Emiratis are fishing for Ferraris. Who cares about the price? We just want to see which one wins the drag race at the end of the day.

With drone strikes, air raids, and fierce clashes being a daily occurrence, it’s no wonder Yemenis are searching for the cost of a new home…

Sadly, car bombings in Iraq are a near daily occurrence. Could this be the reason why the most common cost Googled in Iraq is cars?

Hold on! We thought beer was meant to be forbidden in Islam?! Well, for Turkey’s 99.8% Muslim population, guess what they searched for the most… Fancy a cold one?

Lebanon’s gaming enthusiasts must have been looking for cheap deals because the cost of a PlayStation 3 was the most Googled item in Lebanon. Did you hear that, Sonic the Hedgehog?

Unfortunately, it’s no surprise in Syria people are more focused on meeting their essential daily needs than splurging on a new PlayStation 3. There are almost 250,000 besieged Syrians trapped inside the warring country, without access to food and water.

This one we can’t really wrap our head around, but the most Googled cost estimation in Iran was a kidney. The question at hand is really, are they looking to buy or sell?!

From prostitutes in Argentina to IVF in Australia, take a look to see who is looking to buy what around the globe.
