10 Most Expensive Cities in the World 2019

For the first time in the Worldwide Cost of Living 2019 survey’s history, 3 cities share the title of the world’s most expensive city: Singapore, Hong Kong, and Paris.

The top 10 is largely split between Asia and Europe, with Singapore representing the only city in the top ten that has maintained its ranking from the previous year.

2. Paris: The French Capital seems to get more expensive each year. In 2017, Paris was the 7th most expensive city, and in 2018 it moved 5 places to rank 2nd. This year, it ranked first along with Singapore and Hong Kong.
