ALBAWABA - Europe was just hit with a massive power outage that targeted countries such as Spain, France, Portugal, and Andorra. The recent incident caused chaos across the continent, disrupting transportation commutes such as metro stations and airports, and causing an outage for mobile services.

According to Roya News, citing several reports, the disruption is being linked to the European electric grid, but investigations into the matter are still ongoing. Additionally, several other reports have linked a fire that recently erupted in France's Alaric Mountain with claims that it reportedly damaged a high-voltage transmission line.

On the contrary, many social media users took to platforms such as Musk's X (formerly Twitter) to speculate and debate. Several users swarmed the comment sections, claiming it might've been a cyberattack with Russian hackers being the main suspects. It's important to note that these claims are baseless.
