ALBAWABA - On board Air Force One, US President Donald Trump recently accused Iran of generating "fake" AI videos of 250,000 Iranians chanting and praising the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his son, now Supreme Leader Mojtaba, during a rally.
Trump told reporters, "One more thing that was also AI-generated... They showed 250,000 people in a square saying how much they love Khamenei, totally AI-generated; it never took place. The media knew it never took place, but they built it up like they have great support. They don’t have support."

The US President then warned of the dangers of AI, stating further that he was surprised by the clip since he claimed that the people of Iran "hate" the Islamic Regime and its leadership. He then took jabs at several news outlets, including ABC News, for sharing the rally on their platforms.
Trump's accusations raised eyebrows on social media, with many users criticizing the US President for making claims without proof.
A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), "There’s a serious national security concern going on about where he gets his wildly inaccurate info. The regime in Iran does actually have widespread support among the majority ethnicity in the country. Like it or not most support the regime especially when facing outside threat."
Another added, "thats a bold claim without any proof. wheres the metadata analysis showing its AI generated."
