ALBAWABA - Since the start of the Israeli war in Gaza on Oct. 7. and the calls to boycott brands that support the Israeli occupation, a new video of a Libyan boy has gone viral in a few hours.
"The most powerful video of boycott," people described the clip saying it perfectly shows how spending a small amount of money on boycotted products can help financially support the Israeli government to bomb Gaza.
In the footage, a little boy was seen inside a supermarket buying a Pepsi can for two dinars and the journey of the money which finally lands as a missile at the hands of the Israeli armed forces.
Wissam Nassar, an International award-winning Photographer, posted the video and tagged Binali Yıldırım, former prime minister of Turkey, saying that the boycott video was created by him in cooperation with the Libyan child.
The little Libyan child, seen in the 1:30-minute video on the boycott, was recognized as Mohammed Alnaas. Alnaas posted the video on his Instagram, where he is followed by 33.8K, and wrote: "Free yourself from any attachments to these products."
The Libyan child gained massive engagement on his post with dozens of thousands of likes and comments, an activist said: "These are the only type of “Hollywood” films I want to watch. Absolute, Legendary status unlocked!"
Another added: "Next level of spreading awareness 🔥❤️ ALWAYS KEEP BOYCOTTING!!!" Moreover, another pro-Palestinian commented: "Wow this is👏🏽 tears in my eyes because it's the truth don't stop boycotting."
Since the start of the Israeli aggression against Gaza, human rights activists have launched a campaign to boycott international brands that support Israeli occupation, including McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Starbucks and many more.
Israeli attacks in Gaza left at least 30,320 people killed and 71,533 wounded since Oct. 7, according to data shared by the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
