ALBAWABA - Tunisian famous tennis player Ons Jabeur has spoken up following backlashes by the Israeli Tennis Federation.
Ons Jabeur, 29, who is the highest-ranked African and Arab tennis player in WTA and ATP rankings history, has posted in support of Palestinian people in Gaza against Israeli assaults.
First, the Tunisian tennis player said: "Stop the violence...Freedom for Palestine" to receive heavy attack by the Israeli Tennis Federation.

Israeli Tennis Federation called on the International Tennis Federation and the Women's Association to punish the Tunisian champion against the backdrop of her support for the Palestinian people, accusing her of "incitement and support for a murderous and Nazi terrorist organization."
Following the attack, the Tennis player posted a story on Instagram saying that supporting Palestinians "doesn't mean you are pro-Hamas."
She added: "Saying "Free Palestine" does not mean you are anti-Semetic."
Meanwhile, Tunisia's Ministry of Youth and Sports released a statement expressing its absolute support for the Tunisian champion following the campaign against her by the Israeli Tennis Federation for supporting Palestine.
Furthermore, Jabeur is not the only one who was attacked for supporting the Palestinian cause.
Tunisian football player Issa Al-Aidouni, who plays as a midfielder for the German team Union Berlin and the Tunisian national football team, was heavily rebuked due to his expression of solidarity with Palestine.
