ALBAWABA - French lawyer Gilles Devers who is best known for his support of Palestine in the ICC (International Criminal Court) amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, recently passed away at 68.
The man was also well regarded due to having a hand in Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant's recent arrest warrant.
News of his passing resulted in a plethora of human rights and pro-Palestine activists mourning his death on social media due to his firm stance on the Palestinian cause. Devers was part of 500 lawyers who brought up the case in The Hague in November last year.
