Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Monday paid a visit to Cement Factory Project of Cement Arab Company in Howeirah area.
According to SABA, the president was informed about the ongoing work to carry out the project. The productive capacity is expected to reach 2 million tons per year in the first phase. The project, which costs US$ 260 million, will start production next year.
This visit of the president came in the framework his encouragement to such investments in a number of governorate.
