Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Friday presided over a meeting of top military and security officials in Aden. He voiced appreciation for the efforts being exerted by security and army forces to keep the country secure, confirming the need for using an iron fist to crack down anybody trying to undermine the country's security. "The interest of Yemen is above all," he stated.
President Saleh also ordered security apparatuses to firmly confront those who try to undermine Yemen's security and stability. He urged the citizens to help security forces perform their tasks of preserving stability. An official source told KUNA the meeting produced a number of measures needed in this respect. He gave no more details. (Albawaba.com)
