Yemen's turbulent political parties ought to adopt a code of honor to protect democracy from violence, according to President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
After meeting opposition leaders earlier this week, Saleh called for a code of honor to be drawn up outlining "non-recourse to violence" in the interest of national unity.
SABA news agency quoted Yemen’s President as saying, "The success of the democratic experience is the national responsibility of all of us." (Albawaba.com)
