Yemen president orders to free 445 rioters

Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh gave orders to release citizens, who were arrested over riots in the capital and some other Yemeni governorates.

According to press reports, the orders included all arrestees, over events took place in 21-22 June, either they had been already judged or not yet. The arrests were made during riots over the price hike of oil products. The number of people who will benefit from the amnesty after being referred to judiciary is 445.
