Who has what it takes to be the Queen of Sahara Centre? Sharjah's leading family shopping and entertainment centre is gearing up for an exciting two-month promotion from April 1 to May 31 that will see more than AED 400,000 in prizes up for grabs.
The lady crowned the Queen of Sahara and three other lucky ladies will share in a spectacular array of prizes including Sahara Centre gift vouchers that can be used in any of the centre's high quality outlets. Other items that have been generously donated by participating Sahara Centre stores include top brand cosmetics, fragrances and beauty products from Beauty Court, exquisite jewellery and stylish watches from Damas, fashionable and functional designer sunglasses, eyewear and optical products from Al Jaber Optical Center, the latest in contemporary ladies fashion and accessories from Enzo and exotic furniture and home accessories from the vast selection at Marina.
All these regal treats are guaranteed to leave the Queen of Sahara looking like true royalty.
Every Wednesday throughout the promotion, live radio programs from the Sahara Centre will be broadcast on Al Rabia'a (107.8 FM), commencing the second week of April and every week until the Queen of Sahara is crowned at the end of May.
Hot on the heels of the success of it’s Goodwill Ambassadors campaign, which gave young scholars the chance to win 100,000 worth of scholarships and prizes, Sahara Centre is now offering on its female shoppers the chance to win big.
“Being the leading family-oriented shopping and entertainment in Sharjah, we develop a variety of programs targeting different segments of our diverse market to give them a rewarding and pleasurable experience every time they visit Sahara Centre,” said Dean John, General Manager, Sahara Centre. “With the Queen of Sahara promotion, we hope to entice more women to come to the mall for their various shopping needs - and offer them the chance to be rewarded for it.”
For a minimum spend of AED200 on any retail outlet in Sahara Centre, female shoppers get a chance to win in the raffle draw that will select four lucky winners of gift vouchers each worth AED100,000, along with gifts from participating outlets.
On the final day of the promotion, the four lucky winners will return to Sahara Centre for the final draw that will determine who among them will have the privilege of being crowned the Queen of Sahara Centre.
“We will treat our new Queen with “royal” privileges, including dressing her up with the latest designer clothes, and pampering her with a fabulous new hair style and make-up,” added Dean. “Then, we will treat her and her family to a sumptuous dinner in an elegant restaurant complete with limousine service, or a memorable weekend away. A day of spa indulgence, an enjoyable coffee with friends and other surprise treats will also await the Queen.”
Since its inception, Sahara Centre has pioneered a number of exciting promotions that have contributed to the steady growth of footfall traffic and sales in the mall. Mall executives are optimistic this new promotions will entice more shopping spend from loyal customers, and generate further business from new customers.
