Israeli "special forces" on Thursday assassinated two Palestinians in the West Bank city of Jenin. Mahmoud Ziad and Ahmed Abahara were members of Al Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fatah. Two other Palestinians were wounded in the attack, Maan news agency reported.

Elsewhere, Israeli occupation forces detained on Thursday three Palestinians in the West Bank cities of Bethlehem and Tulkarem.

Eyewitnesses told WAFA that Israeli troops stormed Toque town, south of Bethlehem, and lunched a search campaign. They added that Israeli soldiers arrested Soud Mhessin 43, and led him into an unknown place.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers backed by tanks and armoured vehicles thrust into Tulkarem city and arrested two Palestinians.

In another development, an Israeli military court on Thursday sentenced a Palestinian to three life terms and an additional thirty years for his involvement in two shooting attacks in which four Israelis were killed and three were wounded, Haaretz reported.
