Higher education institutions in Iran have arranged for a mass student wedding at which 300 couples tied the matrimonial knot, Iran’s official news agency (IRNA) reported Sunday.
The wedding ceremony, organized at Ferdowsi University and two other higher education centers, was attended by the families of the young couples and various strata of people as well as number of executive organs' officials, the agency added.
Gifts such as carpets, telephone lines and round-trip air tickets for visiting major Iranian cities were also presented to all the young couples by various organizations and institutions.
