Wataniya Telecom, the Red Carpet Company, today announced the launch of Push to Talk, the new service that offers one to one and one to many communications for its customers in Kuwait. Push to Talk, launched by Wataniya for the first time in Kuwait, enables instant and reliable communication and eliminates the need to dial numbers.
“With Push to Talk, customers can communicate with each other either in groups or individually by pushing a single button. It functions in a similar way to the ‘walkie-talkie’ technology,” said Jukka Paasivaara, Director of sales, Wataniya Telecom. “The service allows instant, streamlined communication in the fast-paced day to day life that people experience today. As part of Wataniya’s expanding service portfolio, we’re offering Push to Talk to our customers as an alternative method of communication. The applications of the service are flexible, and can also meet specific requirements in a business environment.”
Paasivaara added: “Virtually any business with a mobile workforce can benefit from the Push to Talk service. It simplifies the response to mission-critical needs and helps mobile workers in the field stay in touch when away from their offices and connect multiple campuses. Moreover, in a large family environment, Push to Talk allows relatives to communicate with each other instantaneously inside a large house. The same applies to a group of students on a university campus, for example.”
