Cyprus Foreign Minister Georgios Iacovou met in Washington Wednesday with US Vice President Dick Cheney and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice with whom he discussed the Cyprus problem, according to CNA.
Iacovou told the official news agency that his interlocutors acknowledge that the United States has to work with a view to "convince Turkey to contribute to the settlement of the Cyprus" issue. (Albawaba.com)
