ALBAWABA - U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell has been hospitalized since June 14 with his office refusing to disclose the reason; now reporters are coming in that the Senator is “brain dead” and is on life support.
The claims come from Laura Loomer, a conservative activist, who said a ‘high-level’ source in the White House provided the information. Reporter Desiree Townsend later confirmed the reports saying she had heard the same from her own sources;
“I have heard the same thing from my sources for days,” Townsend wrote. “At this point, I am at the hospital for when they eventually decide to move cut him off of life support and move his body. His Capitol police detail is still here as of 3:39pm ET.”
A spokesperson for the Senator responded to the claims: "The Senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session,” adding that, “Senator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he’s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital.”
Three days after the Senator was hospitalized, the Senator’s wife, former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, travelled to China where she met with the Chinese Vice President Han Zheng. The Senator’s office refused to respond to messages seeking comments.
