United States Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs William Burns is due to meet Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon Tuesday to discuss "roadmap" implementation steps, KUNA reported, citing Israeli sources.

According to the sources, the Israeli Premier plans to brief Burns of "Palestinian violations" in addition to the recent Hezbollah attacks in Northern Israel, which killed one teenaged settler and injured four others.

The sources, KUNA added, said Sharon would stress to the US envoy, that Israel would not take a single step unless Palestinians dismantle the infrastructure of Palestinian resistance movements. (Albawaba.com)
