The chief of the UN's nuclear watchdog has denied reports that inspectors found enriched uranium in samples taken recently in Iran, calling it "pure speculation at this stage."
Mohamed ElBaradei, director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency, told The Associated Press, "there's a lot of analysis we need to discuss...with Iran." "We are not in any way ready to come up with a conclusion on that issue before we discuss all the results with the Iranian authorities."
Earlier, diplomats told Reuters initial analysis showed enrichment levels possibly consistent with an attempt to make weapons-grade material and high enough to cause concern at the IAEA. (Albawaba.com)
