This month Showtime brings you the ultimate in speed TV, if you have a desire for adrenaline and a passion for power then slip yourself in front of TV Land for Top Gear and Monster Garage for an incredible journey of stunts, celebrity laps, Clarkson classics and vehicle transformations.
Top Gear hits our screens from the 1st January and is the UK's premier motoring show. You could say, ultimate boys' club, but one that through its tone and style is accessible to everyone - 40% of viewers are female! Irreverent, witty and unbiasedly honest, the Top Gear team, led by Jeremy Clarkson, takes cars to the limit and beyond to find out if they're any good or not.
If you want to know how big the boot is, look elsewhere. Full of stunts, challenges and special features, Top Gear is self-deprecating, inclusive and passionate – there are no boring stats and impenetrable conversations about camshafts and tyre pressures.
From January 2nd Monster Garage burns up the screen! Monster Garage is a game show hosted by the tattooed bad boy Jesse James, the great-great-grandson of the cousin of the legendary Wild West outlaw, Jesse James! Every week a group of people who have a passion for building, modifying, or fabricating cars get the chance to create a vehicle that can transform into a completely different machine a "monster machine."
If the build is successful, the build crew goes onto win a host of prizes. If the build is a failure, host Jesse James feeds it to a shredder. In Monster Garage, he is practically involved in every build; from design, construction (or destruction), and the Monster Challenge.
Top Gear and Monster Garage are shows than do a whole lot more than review cars for car enthusiasts, tune into Top Gear and Monster Garage in January for one hell of a ride!
