UAE police this week arrested 10 illegal aliens of various nationalities within 48 hours, reported the official UAE news agency, WAM, on Thursday.
The illegal aliens, who were arrested while they were trying to cross the border, have been detained pending trial.
The move is part of a national campaign to put an end to the problem, said the agency – Albawaba.com
