The United Arab Emirates will finance the building of new homes for some 70 Gaza families whose houses were destroyed earlier this week by the Israeli occupation forces, Palestinian sources said Tuesday.

The Palestinian Authority official radio station, the Voice of Palestine, quoted officials as saying that UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al-Nahayan instructed the Emirate Red Crescent to prepare plans for the construction of new homes for the homeless Palestinians.

The radio did not say when the homes will be built and how much they would cost. (Albawaba.com)
