Two Palestinians were injured Sunday evening, one critically, when an Israeli tank fired a shell towards them in Qizan Al Najar area, south of Khan Younis, Palestinian medical sources said Monday.

Witnesses said that an Israeli tank stationed in the perimeter of the Israeli Morag settlement fired a shell towards the civilians, injuring the two.

In addition, the tank shell's blast caused damages to scores of Palestinian houses in the area.

Meanwhile, in Khuza Town, southeast of Khan Younis, Israeli soldiers razed overnight Sunday several green houses, Palestinian security sources said.

The sources added that a D-9 bulldozer backed by an Israeli tank swept into the area and leveled two dunums of green houses owned by a Palestinian.

Elsewhere, in the West Bank, according to IPC, Israeli troops raided Nablus City at 3:00 am [local time] Monday, cordoned off one of the houses in Bin Rushed Street and arrested Ra'fat Abed Hejazi, 18, and led him to an undisclosed destination.

Also on Monday, Israeli forces invaded the towns of Maythalon and Al Yamoun in Jenin governorate, and arrested a Palestinian student after raiding dozens of houses and searching them.

Earlier, an Israeli army incursion took place Sunday evening in Burqa Village, northwest of Nablus, under a barrage of random gunfire.

According to WAFA news agency, Israeli soldiers ordered the stores to shut down, afterwards stormed in the houses and herded the residents in the village main square for interrogation. (Albawaba.com)
