Turkish police have arrested two more suspects with alleged links to the suicide bomber who killed ten Germans in Istanbul last week, Associated Press reported.
The two unidentified suspects were detained in Sanliurfa, near the border with Syria, on Saturday, state-owned Anadolu news agency reported. An Istanbul court has charged the pair with premeditated murder and membership in a "terror group." A total of 12 suspects have now been arrested in connection with the bombing.
Ten Syrians have been jailed and charged with belonging to a "terror group" and are pending trial.
The explosion was set off steps away from Istanbul's famous Blue Mosque in the touristic Sultan Ahmet district. Ten were killed - all of them tourists - and a further fifteen were injured.
Turkish officials claim the attack was carried out by Daesh, but no group has yet claimed responsibility.
The bomber himself has been identified as Nabil Fadli, a Syrian national born in 1988 who had registered as a refugee in Istanbul one week before the attack.
