The Egyptian intelligent officers arrested two persons in Cairo who claimed the ability to help spinsters get married, cure intractable diseases and return children and lost people to their families for large sums of money, the daily Al Akhbar reported.
The officers found inside the houses of the frauds a number of amulets and women’s under clothes in addition to some books on spells and jugglery.
The daily said the suspects were referred to the prosecution department, which ordered their detention.
The story began when the ministry of interior was notified that a fraud ,61, was cheating ladies and claiming that he could solve impossible problems. The man used his home as a base for cheating people specially unmarried girls alleging that he could help them get married. The ministry was also notified that another fraud was operating from his home to cheat people that he was able to return lost children and adults to their families.
Both cheaters used adolescents for publicity and observations in the vicinity of their houses.
The police stormed the two houses and caught the first suspect with two girls who came to him seeking help to get married and the second man was also caught with a woman who came to his house seeking his help to return her son who had been lost since a long time. Albawaba.com
