Tunisia celebrated Arab Agricultural day on Tuesday September 27. Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture in cooperation with AOAD, the celebration of the Arab agricultural day in Tunisia focused on "Arab strategy of the durable agricultural development and the realization of the food safety". Tunisian Minister of Agriculture said that as an essential factor of durable agricultural development is the protection of the agricultural areas and the modernization of the techniques used in agriculture. Le Temps reports that Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) announced September 27 as the Arab agricultural day in 1998.
