Iran's President Mohammad Khatami on Thursday voiced deep regret over the loss of life of scores of Iranians in a cargo train blast in northeast Iran Wednesday. He also called for a probe into the cause of the catastrophic incident. More than 300 people lost their lives, 450 were injured and five villages were severely damaged in the blast, IRIB reported.
