Within the context of celebrations of its second anniversary, Zayed Center for Coordination and Follow-Up will host on Saturday a senior official, who will lecture on “the vision of the Arab League and its role in addressing crucial issues related to the Arab world.”

Khaleej Times reported that Talaat Hamid, Adviser to the Arab League Secretary General, will speak about the League's Ministerial Council resolution, which culminated in the inception of the Center around two years ago.

In view of the significant contributions made by the center to the intellectual and cultural life within the UAE as well as in the larger Arab world, Hamid will highlight the Arab League's vision, which the center is trying to get across through a host of activities.

The Zayed Center was initially set up as a pragmatic response to the dream of Arab solidarity, as envisioned by President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – Albawaba.com
