ALBAWABA - In a deepening conflict between the Biden administration and Texas over border security, Governor Greg Abbott announces intentions to erect fresh barbed wire barriers, challenging the recent Supreme Court decision. The move gains backing from 25 Republican states and former President Donald Trump.

The contentious issue of border security and irregular migration, a longstanding divide between Republicans and Democrats, escalates following the non-compliance with the Supreme Court's recent ruling.

Governor Abbott, refusing to accept the Supreme Court's directive to remove existing barbed wire installed by Texas officials, asserts that the state's National Guard will resist and, in fact, deploy new barriers to "safeguard the border." He accuses the federal government of inadequately addressing the issue of irregular migration.

Alleging that Texas is under an "invasion," Abbott underscores the constitutional obligation to protect state borders and seeks assistance from fellow Republican-led states.

Responding promptly to Abbott's call, governors from 25 states express collective support in a joint statement, committing to aid Texas in maintaining security along the southern border.

Growing Concerns of a Domestic Conflict in the U.S. Over Texas Confrontation

In a development that raises fears of internal strife in the United States, National Guard troops from Republican-led states have been dispatched to Texas, challenging President Joe Biden's administration and federal forces.

Several GOP-led states initiated the deployment of National Guard members months ago to counter the escalating influx of migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border. As tensions between Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Biden administration mount, one state boldly proclaimed that "no option is off the table."

Governor Abbott expressed his displeasure with the Supreme Court's recent decision on Monday, a 5-4 majority ruling that overturned a lower court's decision. This ruling allowed federal border agents to dismantle barbed wire installations supervised by Abbott along the border.

In response, governors from 25 Republican-led states issued a joint statement on Thursday pledging their support for Governor Abbott and Texas's constitutional authority to defend itself. This includes fortifying the borders with barbed wire to thwart what Abbott characterized as the "invasion" of migrants into the state.
